Beware of fake currency: CID


ISI agents, terrorists etc are trying to destabilize Indian economy by circulating counterfeit money, warned state division of CID. It cautioned people to be alert with Rs 100 and Rs 500 currency notes. The fake currency is printed with advanced technology and therefore it is not easy to find out, CID said.
CID suggested the RBI to take special measures so that people can identify fake currency. CID asked people to be extra careful with tenants, lodges and hotel Visitors.
