Mediafire.com and RapdiShare.com are two of the most popular file sharing websites. Both the sites have billions of files hosted on their servers where every second hundreds of thousands of files are uploaded and downloaded for the sharing purposes.
However similar to another popular file hosting site, both the sites also do not offer to any search option on their servers. But here I have a little trick to search any file hosted on these websites using Google. Lets check how its possible!
How to Search Files on Mediafire, Rapidshare and ...
- Go to Google.com
- For example to search all music files hosted on mediafire, type:
site:mediafire.com mp3|wma|ogg
or for a specific artist, album or song, using this format site instead:
site:mediafire.com mp3|wma|ogg “Type artist, album or song title here”
To search a software or compressed file archives, type:
site:mediafire.com rar|zip|exe “Type software or file name here”
Hint: To search in other sites, just replace the site URL with "mediafire.com". For example, to search files in rapidshare, type:
site:rapidshare.com rar|zip|exe “Type software or file name here”
Through this way you can search various formats of files on any files sharing sites that do not have search box. You can use this trick for other sharing/hosting websites that not offer search option.
