Bodyguard
smashed all records at the box office by collecting 38.50 crore nett
in just two days on Wednesday and Thursday. It took a phenomenal
initial and beat all earlier records by a distance. But the public
reports are not as strong as the initial so Three Idiots or even
Dabangg type lifetime business is ruled out though it will still emerge
a huge grosser and amongst the top five of all time thanks to a
mammoth total in its extended five day weekend.
Bodyguard Overseas Numbers: Very Good Opening
Bodyguard has opened very well in the overseas markets. The following collections are from major markets.
UAE - $1.25 million (4 days)
UK - $395,000 (3 Days)
North America - $295,000 (1 Day)
Australia - $100,000 (3 Days)
The film is looking at a $4.5-4.75 million (INR 20-21 cr) total over its extended six day weekend in the overseas market
